Munich's very own beach. If you don`t like to hang out at the river in the crowded center, rent a bike and enjoy it from the Großhesseloher Brücke on until you’ve found your place to swim - or you can`t ride your bike anymore.
I really like this tiny bookstore in my hood (correct, Sendling!). Whenever I enter it, I spend much more time there than I was planning to.

Eat some delicious cakes at the café with your grandma and take her later for some beers in the bar above it (and 150% not fancy) in a building form 1948.
Not cheap, but if you fancy some amazing Chinese food and you wish to wash it down with tasty wine this is your place.
So if you are in Munich make sure you go hiking at least once as possibilities here are countless. Even if you don't have a car, you can reach beautiful spots like Schliersee in less than one hour by train.
Pack some fresh socks, a t-shirt and stay there overnight - or forever!
I love these mythical Bavarian creatures who are (almost) impossible to find in their natural environment. Fortunately, you can see some dead but preserved ones at Jagd- und Fischereimuseum.
